Galah, South Australia
Galah, Mulloorina Station. A very common bird of Australia. It has many names but to most it is just a "Galah" which can also be used as a slang term for a rudely behaved person, a fool, (essentially a bird which flies south in the winter - a silly thing to do in the Southern Hemisphere). Still they are probably my favourite, they have character. It is beautiful to see them hanging upside down from powerlines in the rain letting the rain clean the dust from their feathers.
